An eight-week rotation. Two weeks at King Abdullah University Hospital and the remaining weeks in the other peripheral hospitals. During the course, the students are expected to understand diagnosis and management of common pediatric diseases.

- 20%To interview and obtain full medical history from a wide spectrum of ages of pediatric patients.
- 15%To conduct physical examination including skills to perform a full comprehensive exam and a focused physical examination.
- 15%To formulate a differential diagnosis list of common and chronic illnesses.
- 20%To able to practice relevant preventive medicine relevant to the pediatrics.
- 10%To acquire knowledge to perform some of pediatric procedures.
- 15%To acquire knowledge relevant to the role of genetics in diseases in childhood and the different pathways that genetics disorders cause illnesses.
- 5%To provide accurate and correct information when asked by families and to demonstrate honesty when giving information.
