This course covers health in the world from the aspects of measuring health and diseases in communities and the reasons of their disparities and diseases burden, health equity, culture and health, environmental health, chronic diseases, non-communicable disease, infectious diseases, mother and child health, breastfeeding, nutrition, child development and mental health. The course also covers health systems, health challenges specially to developing and emerging nations with limited resources, health priorities for population groups with diverse cultural backgrounds, catastrophes and emergencies, globalization and health, international human rights, social justice, and international health regulations. Experienced people are invited to give lectures or a variety of interactive activities.
