This course covers basic terminology in anatomy and the basics of gross anatomy for all parts of the body (upper limb & lower limb thorax, abdomen, head & neck, and neuroanatomy) as well as an introduction to the anatomy of various body systems through lectures and practical training. It also includes the study of general embryology, which includes the development of embryo starting from the zygote, the fetal membranes, placenta and congenital malformations.
